VDV Everyday Uniform

A soviet Efreitor of the VDV in everyday/walking out dress. His badges on the left indicate that he has served in the Afghanistan War (the Afghanistan campaign star-medal) and that he is a Paratrooper with the VDV and that he is also in a Guards unit. His medals on the right indicate (from his left to right.) are "Jubilee Medal "70 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR"" (meaning he was serving on 23 February 1988 and was awarded said medal.)  and "Medal "For Strengthening of Brotherhood in Arms"" (Awarded to military personnel, to employees of state security, of internal affairs, and to other citizens of the states participants of the Warsaw Pact as well as other socialist and other friendly nations for merit in strengthening military relations)
